Hiperborean Tech ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Silence Timer mobile application (the "Service"). This Policy explains how we collect, use, and handle your data.

            Privacy Commitment: We respect your meditation practice. We only collect the data necessary
            to provide you with the features you choose to use, such as cloud synchronization and anonymous feedback.
        

1. Data Collection and Use

A. Offline / Anonymous Usage

By default, Silence Timer operates offline. The only data collected from offline users is through voluntary "Update & Feedback" surveys. This includes:

Non-personalized feature usage preferences.
Technical context (app version, platform).
An anonymous identifier to aggregate responses.
Any feedback text you provide.

B. Synced Users (Account Holders)

If you create an account to use the cloud Sync feature, we collect additional data to synchronize your experience across devices:

Authentication Data: Email address and basic profile info provided via Google, Apple, or Email sign-in.
Synced App Data: Timer Presets, Preset Groups, Meditation Diary/Logs, Usage Statistics, App Settings, and Custom Sounds (audio files). This data is securely stored on Firebase.

C. In-App Subscriptions

Payments for premium subscriptions are processed entirely by your App Store (Google Play Store or Apple App Store). We do not collect, process, or store credit card details. We only receive purchase receipts to grant premium access.

2. Third-Party Service Providers

We use third-party services to facilitate the Service:

3. Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption provided by Firebase to protect your data during transmission and at rest.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain synced data as long as your account is active. You have full control over your cloud data:

In-App Deletion: You may use the "Delete All Synced Data" feature within the Sync tab to permanently remove all your cloud-stored data (presets, logs, custom sounds, and stats) from our servers at any time. This action does not affect the data stored locally on your device.
Account Deletion: You may request account deletion at any time, which will permanently delete your account and all associated synced data from our servers.
Survey Data: Anonymous survey data is kept as long as it's relevant for improving the app.

5. Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
